IV Drip Ladies Is Hiring – PRN Registered Nurse (RN)
IV Drip Ladies is looking for an experienced, dependable PRN Registered Nurse to join our mobile IV hydration team serving Austin and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for an RN looking for flexible, supplemental work.

The Position
We are specifically looking for someone who can assist with:
- Corporate wellness accounts – providing IV hydration to employees onsite
- Special events and group IV events
- Coverage for our full-time RNs during vacations, illness, and scheduled time off
- Mobile IV appointments as needed throughout Austin and surrounding areas
Clinical Responsibilities
All nurses are expected to maintain IV Drip Ladies’ standards of patient safety, professionalism, and quality care. Responsibilities include:
- Screening and assessing patients prior to treatment.
- Independently initiating peripheral IV access.
- Administering and monitoring IV therapies according to approved clinical protocols and standing orders.
- Completing accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Recognizing and escalating adverse reactions or clinical concerns.
- Maintaining accurate availability and arriving prepared and on time.
- Following company scheduling, documentation, and payment procedures.
- Participating in corporate and special events when mutually agreed upon.
What We’re Looking For
The Ideal Candidate
- Current Texas RN license and BLS card
- Strong, recent IV insertion skills are required
- Confident and proficient in starting IVs on a variety of patients
- Professional, outgoing, and comfortable working corporate and special events
- Dependable and willing to travel throughout the Austin metro and surrounding areas
- Must have reliable transportation and use your own vehicle
- Flexible availability, including some Saturdays and special events
- Ability to work independently in a mobile setting
- Currently employed with recent clinical nursing experience preferred
Required Qualifications
All nurses must meet the following requirements:
- Current authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Texas.
- Current BLS/CPR certifications.
- Active professional liability insurance.
- Recent, hands-on experience independently starting peripheral IVs.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Austin metropolitan area.
- Successful completion of an in-person IV competency assessment prior to onboarding.
New RN Compensation Structure
PRN Independent Contractor | Appointment-Based Pay. IV Drip Ladies is introducing a new compensation structure designed to reward our nurses for their time, clinical expertise, productivity, and commitment to providing excellent patient care. Under this new structure, nurses will be compensated per completed appointment rather than receiving an hourly wage.
1. Appointment Compensation
Nurses will receive a minimum of $60 per standalone appointment OR 20% of total service revenue, whichever is greater. This guarantees a minimum payment of $60 for each completed standalone appointment, with the opportunity to earn more based on the total services provided.
Examples of Appointment Earnings:

Most appointments take approximately one hour, and nurses can typically earn around $100 per appointment, depending on services provided.

3. Flexible PRN Scheduling
This position is structured as a PRN independent-contractor opportunity, allowing nurses flexibility in managing their schedules.
- Nurses establish their own availability. If available for the entire day you must be available for the entirety of operating hours. 10-6pm
- Appointments are scheduled within the availability provided.
- Weekday availability is currently our greatest staffing need but would require one Saturday availability per month.
- There are no guaranteed shifts, minimum hours, or appointment volumes.
- Appointment volume may fluctuate based on customer demand.
- Compensation is based on completed appointments. Driving time and unscheduled gaps between appointments are not separately compensated. Applicable travel fees are paid as outlined above.
This is a PRN position, with hours varying based on corporate accounts, events, mobile appointments, and staff coverage.
